                                                      Kutch nahi dekha to kuch nahi dekha!!! This trip has been long due especially after we all having seen Mr. Amitabh Bachan doing the promotion for the Rann of Kutch. Finally, we got a chance and I planned a trip during the new year holidays.  We started our journey from Delhi and reached Ahmedabad. The first thing we visited this time was the Atal Bridge. It is a foot-bridge recently built and looks just amazing. Amarnath Yatra 2024

                                                                                   Shri A marnath Yatra  - "Bhuke ko aann, pyase ko Pani, Sab milke bolo, Jai Baba Barfani" !!!            Welcome banner at Srinagar airport for Amarnath Yatris :-) I was fortunate to do Amarnath Yatra in July 2024. This yatra holds immense significance as it is believed that Lord Shiva and Devi Parvathi visited this place.  I started my journey from Delhi to Srinagar via Indigo Flight. It took me less than 90 minutes to reach Srinagar. I could enjoy beautiful views of the mountains before landing at Srinagar Airport.  Glimpses of the mountains from the airlines as we were about to reach Srinagar.  There are two ways to start the journey - Pehalgam route and Baltal. We took the Baltal route as it was shorter. It was 16 Kms one side one can return to base camp on the same day. On the way from Srinagar to Baltal, there were several mosques. Nainital (Kumaon Region of Uttarakhand) In this write up, I am going to share an itinerary which started from one famous destination - Nainital but got extended and we ended up covering most of the Kumaon Region.  Places covered:  Bhimtal Nainital Mukteshwar Ranikhet  Kausani Almora I will share the things to do at each of these destinations.  Bhimtal - Boating at lake with Aquarium Naukuchiya tal (5 kms from Bhimtal), Kamal Tal, other activities include zip lining, horse riding, boating with Shikara Boat  Nainital - Naini Lake, Mall Road, Naina Devi Mandir, Zoo, Snow Viewpoint, Cave Gardens, Lovers Point Mukteshwar - Mukteshwar Dham, Chauli Ki Jali, Zero Point Ranikhet - Jhula Devi Temple, Golf Course ground Kausani - Gandhi Ashram  Almora - Mall Road, Temples On the way from Kausani to Almora, places to be covered are Bijapur, Bageshwar, Binsar Wildlife Centry, Kasar Devi Temple.
