Ludhiana - Not just a city but a heritage

                                                        Ludhiana - Industrial capital of Punjab





This blog is not written from a tourist point of view but rather an emotional angle. This is because the city that I am going to talk about is my hometown. 

We all know that Ludhiana is known for hosiery and cycle parts. I never valued the hosiery part while I was staying here. I could realize the value when I was in Bangalore and doing shopping in Lifestyle. The same product which I brought from there costing more than Rs 1,000 was manufactured in Ludhaina itself and had a hosiery name printed on it which was just next door to my ancestral house.

The Journey from Delhi to Ludhiana is fun. Lot of dhabas on the highway with good quality food are available. Starting from Muruthal, there is never ending list of places to eat till we reach Ludhiana. Amrik Sukhdev, Gulshan Dhaba, Highway King, Mannat Haveli, Haldirams to name a few.

                                                         Yamunotri, Gangotri, and Kedarnath  We were a group of three friends and decided to do two dham yatra. But as we all know that when boys start the trip it is next to impossible that the trip will end up in the same direction. The same happened with us. Kedarnath, Tungnath, and Badrinath were planned initially but as we united in Haridwar a day before the start of our journey, the plan took a U-turn.
