Three things that we need in life - Travel, travel, and more travel !!!

Haaron ka sahara, Baba Shyam Hamara!!!  I always heard about Shyam Baba. Finally, we had a privilege of visiting Khatu Shyam Dham from Delhi in March 2024.  Shyam Kund - At this place, the head of Barbareek was found at this place. It is believed that all skin diseases get cured by the water from this place. Earlier people used to take bath but now one can just go and wet feet at this place.    One of my friends insisted that after darshan I must try the Kachori Kadi which is offered by only one shop next to the clock tower. I also had it for tasting and it had an authentic flavor.  This queue towards darshan in the main temple complex. We found that there was not one, but multiple queues. However, later on we realized that only a few would allow to do darshan closely. In the rest of the queues, though the time taken would be less but darshan can be done only from a distance.   

                                                                                            Jai Shri Ram!!! I am staring this blog with "Jai Shri Ram" as this is the only sound that is coming from my heart. It was the chanting that could be heard as we enter the main temple complex for darshan.                                                 Temple view  This is a pictural depiction of the Temple. It has been placed at multiple places in Ayodhya. I took this picture near Lata Mangeshkar Chowk.  For me, the top places to visit are: Shri Ram Janambhoomi Mandir, Hanuman Mandir, Ram Ki Paidi, and Sarayu Aarti.  It is believed that Hanuman Mandir should be visited before Ram Mandir. The sound and light show is at the Ram ki Paidi. And before the Sarayu Aarti, boating can be done in Sarayu River. This will make the trip complete in itself.   Ram Ki Paidi has a laser show in the night at 7 pm. This is a perfect place for evening visit. During the day, people take bath in this place
