Amritsar - The Golden Temple and more....

Image
Amritsar I have been to Amrtisar multiple times, but this is the first time when I explored the city beyond Golden Temple and Wagah Border. I stayed there overnight to have a view of the Golden Temple in the night with lights all over and the temple bright and shining and then the next day in the sunlight where it looks very beautiful and natural.  We explored a different itinerary this time but the key highlight continued to be Golden temple. Just 25 Kms before Amritsar is another Gurudwara which has the largest sarovar than any other gurudwara - Tarn Taran Gurudwara.  Other things that we did are:  Taran Taran Gurdwara  Durgyana Mandir  Gobindgarh Fort  Partitian Museum Gobindgarh Fort   Partition Museum - This is a nice place as it gives a European feal. The surroundings have been nicely done with lot of places to take pictures and eateries are all around. The famous Brother Dhaba is also nearby.
